Roswell High School Marching Band Performs "Trumpet Suicide"

The band showed their spirit during an marching band exhibition last year.

You have seen the Roswell High School Marching Band play music at games, but have you ever seen them perform a "trumpet suicide?"

The popular band activity - which involves some choreographed movement to a beat - gets plenty of hits on YouTube, so when we came across a video of the Roswell band performing the feat, Roswell Patch wanted to share it with local residents.

"We were at a marching band exhibition last year held at John's Creek High School. Because of a tornado drill during the exhibition, we had to go into the gym and we didn't get to perform," Stephen Wang and Thomas Pass told Roswell Patch of what is shown in the video. "Since many of the schools were chanting songs, we decided to show off our school spirit by doing our signature trumpet suicides."
