Roswell, Centennial Not Ranked Among Best High Schools

The prestigious U.S. News & World Report did not include either of Roswell's public high schools in its rankings this year.

Both of Roswell's public high schools were unranked in the coveted annual Best High Schools Rankings by U.S. News & World Report, but nearby schools were named best in Georgia.

Roswell and Centennial high schools did not achieve a ranking by the magazine, which requires that a school must be awarded a national gold or silver medal to receive a state ranking. Milton, Alpharetta and Johns Creek were also unranked.

Of the Georgia schools ranked during 2012 for the U.S. News Best High Schools, only two were in North Fulton: Northview High School in Johns Creek (#4 in Georgia, #219 in U.S.) and Riverwood International Charter School in Sandy Springs (#5 in Georgia, #291 in U.S.).
