Roswell Student Wins 'CREW' Scholarship

Abby Hall is attending the University of Alabama to study business management.

Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network recently announced local resident Abby Hall as one of five undergraduate college students and two graduate college students to receive scholarships through the CREW Network Foundation Scholarship Program.

“CREW Network advances the success of women in commercial real estate at all career stages,” said Gail S. Ayers, CEO of CREW Network. “Our annual scholarship program is an example of making commercial real estate more diverse by encouraging young women to pursue careers in the industry. We also provide mentoring and career training for women at all levels, including those who are approaching the C-Suite level in our industry.”

Hall is studying business management with a minor in political science/real estate at the University of Alabama.

In total, $45,000 worth of scholarships were granted by CREW.

The winners will be recognized and presented their grants at the CREW Network Convention & Marketplace in Chicago, IL October 24 – 26, 2012. This is the fifth year of the CREW Network Foundation Scholarship Program, which has awarded $425,000 in scholarships to date.

Launched in 2008, the CREW Network Foundation Scholarship program makes grants to deserving students annually and is supported by a permanent endowment.
