Students at Hembree Springs Showcase Ideas About 'Diversity'

Students used artistic talents to tell the story of how they see diversity.

held its annual Reflections Awards Reception last Friday, Oct. 28, honoring the students who contributed their artistic talents to the 30-year-old PTA Reflections competition and tradition.

This year, interpreting the 2011 theme of “Diversity Means,” the school had 47 school-level entries, with 22 finalists moving on to the North Fulton Council level for a chance to compete at the State level.  We enjoyed entries in 5 of the 6 Reflections categories (Visual Arts, Choreography, Photography, Literature, and Film Production).  We had participants from all grades K through 5th.
