'Vocabulary on Parade' at Northwood Elementary
Students got a special lesson in vocabulary on Monday, Oct. 8.
Northwood Elementary Principal Ritu Ahuja and Assistant Principal Nikol Boyd were “incognito,” blending in with Northwood’s 4th grade Annual Vocabulary parade, Monday, Oct. 8.
Drawing inspiration from a book called "Miss Alaineus: A Vocabulary Disaster" about a chaotic vocab parade, students researched an interesting word and came dressed to represent it, parading all around the school for parents and other grade levels to see.
