5th Grade White Hornets to Battle Blue Eagles Saturday
The Roswell White Hornets head to Alpharetta on Saturday, Nov. 19.
The Roswell White Hornets will play the Alpharetta Blue Eagles in the 5th Grade North Altanta Football League Championship Game on Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
The game is expected to be not only the Hornets' most important game, but also the toughest game of the season. It's a game the team has been preparing for since early August, three nights a week.
Roswell White Hornets Head Coach David Anthony will face Alpharetta Blue Eagles Head Coach Colby Leonard on the field at . The 10-0 undefeated Roswell team has a slightly better record than Alpharetta, which is 9-1 overall.

This season, the Hornets has had over 2,200 yards on the ground and 300 in the air. The team use a balanced attack and have spread the ball around so that nine different players have scored for a season total of 44 touch downs, while giving up only 11 touch downs on defense all season.
The team is blessed to have an organizational structure initially put into place when the core group was in 2nd Grade. Coaches and parent volunteers have molded these boys by inspiring them to have confidence in themselves, developing their football skills and instilling in them attributes such as respect, teamwork and responsibility.
