The 14th Annual Petit Le Mans race is coming up and locals are excited - as evidenced during a special meet-and-greet with the BMW race team in Roswell Tuesday evening.
The 10 hour or 1,000 mile (whichever comes first) endurance race is the final event of the American Le Mans Series season and will be held on the 2.5 mile Road Atlanta race course in Braselton, Ga. this Saturday.
The BMW RLL (Rahal, Letterman, Lanigan) race team, which will be competing in the Petit Le Mans this weekend, visited United BMW in Roswell on Tuesday. The visit provided an opportunity for BMW enthusiasts and ALMS race fans to get up close to BMW racing cars, as well as to meet and speak with some of the BMW drivers who will be racing in the Petit Le Mans.
