Registration is open to all City of Roswell residents ages 7-18 (age on 6/1/2012) wishing to tryout for the Roswell State Swim Team, the RAYS.
You are required to be a Roswell resident to try out for the Roswell RAYS, and you must be available to swim at the GRPA state meet on Friday, July 27th and Saturday, July 28th.
The RAYS will compete at the annual GRPA State Swim Meet in Carrolton, Georgia, on Friday, July 27th for swimmers age 10 and Under and Saturday, July 28th for
swimmers age 11 and Up (ages on 6/1/2012).
All swimmers will swim a short freestyle
and two other events of their choosing (if they are not trying to qualify for short freestyle).
The top three fastest times for each event in each age
group will qualify for the team.
Participants are required to pre-register for the Roswell State Qualifier Swim Meet no later than Wed. June 13th, 2012. When participants register with the City, they will be sent a link to sign-up for the individual events for which they wish to qualify.
Event sign-up must be done no later than Wed. June 6th, 2012. No entries will be accepted the day of the qualifier meet.
