Youth Disc Golf Camp @ East Roswell Park

Annual Youth Disc Golf Camp at East Roswell Park, kids aged 8-14 (as of 6/1/2012). $58 for City of Roswell residents, $87 for non-residents. Camp runs from 9 am to noon each day, and includes instruction on all aspects of the game, including both backhand and forehand distance, approach shots, putting, rules, and etiquette. We generally also try to incorporate some time each day for getting out onto the course and playing a few holes.

Every camper will get a starter set of disc golf equipment, including lightweight Innova Blizzard Champion Boss discs (the disc David Wiggins, Jr. used to break the world distance record earlier this year), and Innova Roc midrange discs and Innova Aviar putters, all with the new Roswell Disc Golf Club course fundraiser custom stamp, RDGC custom-stamped mini marker discs, Innova Standard bags, stickers, towels and probably some other cool stuff as well. Retail value of all the stuff in the player's pack will be well over $60, so you're getting all (if you're a Roswell resident) or most (if you're a non-resident) of the registration cost back in the form of merchandise -- on top of the three three-hour camp sessions.
