Ex-FSC Soccer Star Competes for National Title
Emily Sonnett is a sophomore at the University of Virginia.
Emily Sonnett, a Fellowship Christian School graduate and former Georgia all-state high school soccer star, will be competing this weekend for the University of Virginia in the NCAA Division I Championship College Cup Tournament.
Virginia, which is 24-1, will be playing UCLA at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the national semifinals in a game to be shown on ESPNU.
A sophomore defender, Sonnett was named to the First Team of the All-Southeast squad by by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).

Sonnett, who graduated from FCS in 2012, has two goals and five assists this season and has started all 25 games for Virginia.
