Fellowship Hoopster Reaches 1,000-Point Mark

Fellowship Christian School senior Roger Rickman netted 12 points to top 1,000 points for his varsity basketball career as the Paladins dropped a 38-28 decision at 3A Blessed Trinity on Tuesday, Nov. 19.
Rickman, who has 1,006 career points, scored 44 points as an eighth-grader on the varsity team at Pine Castle Christian Academy in Florida. He netted 248 points as a freshman at FCS in 2010-11, scored 267 points during his sophomore campaign and netted a career-high 420 points as a Paladin junior last season. Rickman has scored 26 points in two contests this season.On Tuesday, Hunter Bryant added nine points for the Paladins (0-2 overall).
FCS outscored the Titans 19-8 in the third quarter to tie the game at 28-28, but BT went on a 10-0 fourth-quarter run to pull out the victory. The game was tied 9-9 through the first period, and BT led 20-9 at halftime.
