Fellowship Christian School varsity lacrosse player Cameron Petrovich has been named Second Team All-State.

A senior attack, Petrovich led the Paladins with 65 goals, ranked fourth with 24 assists and topped the squad with 89 points, 176 shots and 108 shots on goal.
“It’s a great honor for him,” head coach Andy Petrovich said. “The team features players from schools 5A in size and lower, so it’s quite an honor for a Single A player to be included. Our team and coaching staff are excited for Cameron.”

Petrovich, fellow senior Taylor Cookston and freshman Trey Robinson were also selected for the All-Area Team. A middie, Cookston ranked second on the Paladins with 49 goals. He shared second with 27 assists, was second with 152 shots and 91 shots on goal and finished third with 76 points.

A freshman middie, Robinson won 75 percent of his faceoffs (263-for-350). He also collected four goals and four assists.

FCS posted an 18-2 victory over Mount Paran Christian School in a GHSA Single A playoff consolation round contest played at Whitefield Academy in Mableton on May 2. It was the last game of the season for FCS (11-6 overall).
