Fellowship Volleyball Improves to 13-3

The Lady Paladins compete in a tournament at Sequoyah on Saturday.

The Fellowship varsity volleyball team split a pair of matches played at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School on Tuesday, Sept. 10.

The Lady Bears beat FCS (11-3 overall) in the first match. The scores of the sets were 14-25 in the first and 18-25 in the second.

“We fought hard against Holy Innocents’,” head coach Leah Smith said. “It was great to come back and win the second match.”

The Lady Paladins fared much better against Pinecrest Academy. They won the first set 25-12 and took the second set 25-21.

FCS hosts Whitefield Academy and Pebblebrook High School at home on Thursday, Sept. 12.

Update: FCS won those matches on Thursday to move to 13-2 on the season Fellowship plays in a tournament at Sequoyah on Saturday.
