Junior Golf AcademyONE opens at Country Club of Roswell

The Innovative and active golf program is available to all young golfers in the area.

The Country Club of Roswell and its director of instruction, Jackie Cannizzo, announce the launch of Junior Golf AcademyONE Roswell, a new fitness-focused golf program open to all junior golfers in the area.

"We are excited to bring this new golf program to all girls and boys in the greater Roswell area,” said Cannizzo, a nationally recognized junior golf leader and a member of the Country Club of Roswell staff since 1996.  “One of the strengths of Junior Golf AcademyONE is the ability to provide a fun, active fitness program alongside direct golf instruction.  As leaders of junior golf in the Atlanta area, we are very excited to offer this new program as we believe this is the training model that we need to follow to maximize results for junior golfers so they can enjoy the game more. This program will enhance what we do from a coaching stand point and take our program to a level above others. It's the way coaching should be.”

Junior Golf AcademyONE was created by LPGA Tour/PGA member Suzanne Strudwick in Knoxville, Tenn.

“Our program was created to get kids excited about learning how to play golf, establish an environment they wanted to come back to often and do all of that with a very active, fitness foundation to learning” said Strudwick, the 1993 LPGA Tour rookie of the year who received U.S. Kids Golf Top 50 Kid Teachers honors in 2011. “I am thrilled junior golfers in Roswell will experience this program under the expert direction of award-winning instructor Jackie [Cannizzo] and her team. Junior golfers from in and around Roswell will benefit from their deep knowledge of the game combined with this very active approach to teaching.”
