Wisconsin native Steve Stricker fired a 7 under par 63 to take the first-round lead Thursday in the 93rd PGA Championship being played at the Atlanta Athletic Club's Highland Course in Johns Creek.
Jerry Kelly is in second place with a 5 under par total of 65 on the day.
