Are you ready for another round of picks?

at : Roswell’s 0-5 start is a bit unsettling for the defending Region 6-AAAAA champ. But despite that, the Hornets are still not out of contention in the troubled region, which has five of its seven teams with losing records. Roswell is 0-1 in the region, but there are winnable games ahead. That could include this week’s home game against Centennial (2-4, 1-1). The Knights are coming off a 21-20 win over Milton, which was secured by a blocked PAT in the final minute. The win could be just what Centennial needed to turn around its fortunes. But Roswell can’t go 0-6, right? Roswell 20, Centennial 17.

at Jackson-Atlanta (Grady): Blessed Trinity (2-3) is coming off its biggest win of the season, 21-14 over Westminster. Jackson (3-2) has won three of its last four games. The last time Blessed Trinity played at Grady Stadium, it played well enough to beat Grady in a 14-9 loss, but critical mistakes prevented the win. If the Titans play mistake-free they will win. Blessed Trinity 28, Jackson 24.

at Mt. Pisgah: Two 3-2 teams with nearly identical aspirations (making the playoffs) meet in this Region 5-A North game. Pisgah, 6-4 last year, is 1-1 in the region, just behind leaders Holy Innocents’ and Wesleyan. Fellowship, which beat Pinecrest Academy 21-14 last week, is 1-2 in the region. Neither can afford a loss if they want to challenge for one of the subregion’s top two spots. Mt. Pisgah 28, Fellowship 21.
