Roswell Bounces Back, Downs Johns Creek

Fellowship Christian remains unbeaten while Centennial is still without a win.

After a rough outing last week against Lambert, the Roswell Hornets shook it off on Friday.

They went to 2-1 on the season with a 41-24 win over Johns Creek, as Kendrick Jackson scored two touchdowns.

Friday's game was the last for Roswell before Friday's Region 5-AAAAAA opener at home against Milton, which drubbed Centennial 52-10.

The Knights, who are 0-3, gave up two fumbles that resulted in touchdowns for Milton, which is 3-0.

Centennial plays next at Johns Creek, which is also 0-3.

Fellowship Christian is also 3-0 after defeating Oglethorpe County 38-9. The Paladins, who won two games all season last year, got another strong game from quarterback Hunter Bryant, who threw for 202 yards and two touchdowns.

FCS plays at Christian Heritage School in Dalton next week.
