Roswell placed first in the preliminary team finals.

The top eight teams from Saturday’s meet progressed to the final team competition on Sunday, Nov. 11. Roswell started on bars and posted the highest team score of the meet; beam and floor followed. The girls delivered a strong performance. Vault was the last event and the coaches felt confident the girls would achieve high scores.

Roswell girls once again posted the highest team score for that event.

“It is always a special moment when our program demonstrates success while embracing the values of positive coaching and without overtraining our athletes. I am very proud of our accomplishments in contributing to the girls’ success, both in and out of the gym,” said Cindy Furman, program and facility coordinator.

Roswell Level 6 girls team won first place at the 2012 State Champions with a team score of 112.4. This was their third time winning the state title in four years.
