Undefeated Roswell Jr Hornets Advance to Semi Finals

The Roswell Junior Hornets 7th grade team will play North Cobb in the Georgia Middle School Athletic Association Semi-Finals on Saturday for a chance to play in the state championship.

So far, the undefeated Roswell team has won all eight of its games this season. North Cobb hasn't fared quite as well, having only won seven of the eight games they've played.

The Hornets have issued a challenge for local students from every Roswell school to come to Saturday's game dressed in black as a show of support. Sign-in sheets at the entrance will record the school of each student participating in the "blackout." The school with the most participating students in attendance will receive a donation to be used at the principal's discretion. All school faculty and staff will get in free with their teacher identification cards and will count towards the total.
