Roswell Men's Gymnastics Team Impress Judges at National Meets

February was a big out-of-state meet month for the the local team.

Roswell Men’s Gymnastics Team (RMGT) recently had several chances to stretch their skills during the February meets at West Point Academy Gymnastics Open in Newburgh, NY and the Presidential Classic in Orlando, FL. Both meets delivered strong out-of-state competition; but RMGT still proved to be formidable competition, according to a team press release.

"Out of state meets provide our Roswell gymnasts with a broader view of competition and exposure to new judges," said Ben Wood, director and coach of RMGT. "Roswell coaches and gymnasts competed very well in out-of-state meets this season and we’re all so proud of their success."

At West Point Academy Open, RMGT Level 8 Team placed third and Level 8, Justin Ah Chow, placed an impressive first in Level 8 All Around. Ah Chow individually placed first in pommel horse and third in vault.
