UGA's New Uniforms: What Do You Think?

Bulldogs debuted a striking new apparel for at last Saturday's season opener.

It's not exactly like breaking out black jerseys or silver britches.

The Georgia Bulldogs wore markedly different uniforms during last Saturday's season opener at the Georgia Dome.

The Nike Pro Combat uniforms are quite a bit different than anything Bulldogs fans are used to.

For spirit reasons, Georgia has resorted to one-game departures before, such as the "Blackout" vs. Auburn in 2007, or wearing silver pants.

However, the Nike outfit looks like something out of The Matrix. This is the same style that Oregon debuted in the 2010 BCS title game vs. Auburn.

What would Dean Tate think?

If nothing else, the new design could get many fans talking about something other than Georgia's recent on-field woes; the Bulldogs - who play South Carolina in Athens on Saturday - are coming off a 6-7 2010 season and have not played for the SEC title since 2005. They lost to Boise State, 35-21, last Saturday.

Thus, a new look can only help.

But we want to know: Do you like the new UGA uniforms?

Now, we know that UGA has many fans in and around Roswell - and many rivals. All you fans of Georgia Tech and other SEC and ACC schools might not like anything the Bulldogs wear.

But we ask you to be fair and weigh in anyway. Let us know in the poll below.
