2012 Olympics: Wednesday's NBC TV Schedule

Expect an All-American final in women's Beach Volleyball.

The Wednesday schedule for the 2012 Olympics on NBC includes swimming, track & field, equestrian, canoe/kayak, cycling, diving, men's volleyball, men's water polo and beach volleyball. 10:00a - 10:45a Equestrian

The United States hasn't won gold in individual jumping since 1984, but has Chris Kappler won silver in 2004 and Beezie Madden took bronze four years ago in Beijing.

Qualifying heats in several events, including the men’s 5000m. That event should pit Somalian-born Londoner Mo Farah against Bernard Lagat, the Kenyan-born U.S. record holder who beat Lagat for the 2011 world crown.

11:00a - 12:45p Men's Volleyball

Seeking to win back-to-back Olympic golds in men’s Volleyball, Team USA begins knockout-round play against Italy, which won three of five opening-round matches and is looking to earn its first medal since a silver in 2004.

12:45p - 1:10p Canoe/Kayak

Four gold-medal races at Lee Valley will be contested: the men’s K-1 1000m and K-2 1000m, the men’s C-1 1000m, and women’s K-4 500m.

1:10p - 2:00p Track & Field

Qualifying rounds in Track & Field, including the men's Pole Vault and 5000m, and the women's 800m.

2:00p - 3:00p Beach Volleyball

The bronze-medal match in women's Beach Volleyball with Brazil's Larissa/Juliana facing China's Zhang/Xue.

3:00p - 4:00p Men's Water Polo

Team USA’s bid for its first men’s Water Polo gold medal in 108 years has a tough start in the elimination round, as Croatia has allowed just 29 goals while going 5-0. The US won its first three games before dropping two to Serbia and three-time reigning gold medalist Hungary.

4:00p - 4:40p Cycling

Men's BMX qualifying.

4:40p - 5:00p Track & Field

The 400m race in the men's Decathlon.

8:00p - 11:05p

An All-American final in women's Beach Volleyball as Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh Jennings seek another gold when they face Jennifer Kessy and April Ross. Plus, finals in Track & Field and women's platform Diving.
