Father's Day: Buying, Making Inexpensive Gifts

Handmade cards, special meals, haircuts and clothes from local stores should please dad.

Father's Day is on Sunday. It is a great day to show Dad how much he means to us. Patch has come up with five ways to do this and save money. Here are some local bargains we think you may enjoy. 

1. American Girl in Alpharetta

Deal: Girls age 8 and up can come in to on Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. or on Sunday from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. to make a free card and envelope for Father's Day.

3. Salon Isis in Cumming

Deal: Dad and son can get haircuts for half price on Thursday at Salon Isis when they come in together. Get two for the price of one from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. and walk ins are welcome. 

Good Through: This is a one-day event.

4. Trinity Fashions in Roswell

Deal: Stop by the shop and find high end brand name clothing for Dad at savings of 30 to 80 percent off in their Father's Day sale.

Good Through: The sale will continue through Father's Day.

5. Pinterest

Deal: If you are looking for a craft or a creative gift that will cost you nothing or close to it, check out Pinterest. Type Father's Day in the search box. You will find ideas for crafts from kids of all ages (including adults), gift ideas for husbands and so much more.
