Free, Cheap Movies In Local Theaters All Summer Long

Local theaters are offering free or really cheap movies this summer and Patch has the list of them for you.

Summer is here and there are days when it is just too hot to be outside. Cool off and take the kids to the movies. Local. theaters are offering free and almost free movies all summer long. This is a list you will want to keep bookmarked so you can quickly find out what theater to head to on what day to see which movie.

Here are your local theaters offering the program.

1. Summer Movies in Alpharetta/Roswell

Deal: Come to  beginning next week on Monday through Friday at 11 a.m. to see Shrek Ever After for $2 for adults and $1 for kids. See here for a calendar of shows offered.

Good Through: The movie series will continue all summer with a different feature each week. 

2. Summer Movies In Roswell

Deal:  has already started their summer movies series and the featured movie next week is Horton Hears A Who. Every Wednesday, movies at 10 a.m. are $2 and kids packs are $3. See their website for a list of showtimes and features.

3. Summer Movies In Johns Creek and Alpharetta

Deal: Regal Cinemas in and will start their summer movies the week of June 5. Every Tuesday and Wednesday they will show movies at 10 a.m. starting with Journey 2. The cost is $1. See their show list here.

Good Through: The movie series will continue all summer with a different feature each week. 

4. Summer Movies in Cumming

Deal: Starting the week of June 5, come to for free movies. Popcorn and drinks are $1. Show times are every Tuesday and Thursday at 10 a.m. The series will start with Puss In Boots. See this website for a list of shows offered.

5. Free Movie Rentals in Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Cumming and Roswell

Deal: If staying in is more your style, register for free movie codes through Redbox Codes. These kiosks are all over our area in Kroger, CVS and Walmart stores. Locations can be found here

Good Through: The codes change often so you should always be able to get a free movie.
