Hands-On Science: Lights, Camera, Science!

The Roswell Library will host a special workshop for teens interested in science, Monday, July 9.

Special effects may seem like something reserved for expensive equipment and movies, but it turns out many mind-bending tricks are not only easy to do yourself, they are at the heart of technology we use every day and will rely on tomorrow.

Here's your teen's chance to explore the ins and outs of optics. Trick your eyes, see the future and enter the world of optical illusion. The workshop will be held at 2 p.m. and is open to ages 11-14.

Registration is required since space is limited. Roswell Branch is located at 115 Norcross Street. For information call 770-640-3075
