'Kids Can Write' Camp Coming to Roswell

Barrington Hall will host a creative writing camp for kids, July 23-27.

Roswell’s historic will soon host the "Kids Can Write" children’s creative writing day camp, July 23-27.

The camp will teach children how to write, think creatively and to view writing as a fun process.

The camp will be led by award winning children’s book author Mary Ann Rodman. Rodman’s young adult novel, "Yankee Girl," was chosen for inclusion on the Georgia Center for the Book’s inaugural list of “25 Books All Young Georgians Should Read” in 2010. Under Rodman’s instruction children will learn to tell their stories clearly while engaging their audience through the use of guided exercises, creative thinking and field trips to inspire/encourage their writing ability.
