River Eves Hosts 'Welcome' Ice Cream Social

Already gearing up for the beginning of next school year, PTA is inviting all rising Kindergarten and new students to attend an informative and fun ice cream social in early August.

The event, August 8, will be an opportunity for students to meet each other on the playground and share ice cream and popsicles together. Parents and families will meet school administrators, teachers and PTA leaders, giving them the opportunity to ask questions about the school and forge new relationships.

Bring your checkbook! River Eves merchandise will be available for purchase and parents can also sign-up for the PTA, join our "Calling All Dads" program, learn the inside scoop from other parents, while making new friends.

“Our annual new student and Kindergarten ice cream social is a wonderful way to get a head start on school for the parents of our rising Kindergarten and new students,” said Principal Neil Pinnock. “Our PTA and staff are excited to meet our newest Eagles and their families.  This is a fun activity that also helps our students transition to a new school. We encourage all new students and their families to attend.”

The ice cream social will take place at the lower playground of River Eves Elementary school on Wednesday, August 8 from 3 p.m.-4:30 p.m. River Eves Elementary is located at 9000 Eves Road in Roswell. The lower playground is behind the school and down the stairs.
