Roswell Still Has Summer Camp Openings

Residents can register for these camps on the city's website.

The city of Roswell’s Recreation and Parks Department still has openings for some of its summer camp programs, including two new camps themed around the hit movie “Frozen.” 

Registration is available 24 hours a day at the city's website

‘Frozen’ Kindercamp at Roswell Area Park: May 27–30; 9 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Your camper will enjoy crafts, games, nature exploration and special activities in an outdoor environment that is themed around the hit movie “FROZEN.” A swim period will be held Tuesday through Friday in the mushroom pool area. Must be potty trained. Each child should bring a snack for break, as well as lunch and a beverage. Does not meet on Memorial Day. Ages 4 & 5; age on9/1/14. Age exceptions will not be made. Fee: $84, residents  $126, non-residents 

"Frozen" Day Camp at Roswell Area Park: May 27–30; 9 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Your camper will participate in arts and crafts, games, sports and special activities in an outdoor environment that is themed around the hit movie “FROZEN.” A swim period will be held Tuesday through Friday. Supervised activities will be planned for non-swimmers. Campers should bring a lunch and beverage. Does not meet on Memorial Day. Ages 6 - 10. Must be 6 by 9/1/14. Age exceptions will not be made. Fee: $72, residents;  $108, non-residents. 

Kindercamp at Roswell Area Park: May 27 through August 1; 9 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. 

Campers will participate in a variety of activities such as crafts, stories, songs, mushroom pool, playground games, and nature activities in an outdoor environment. Ages 4 & 5; age on 9/1/2014. Fee: $84, residents  $126, non-residents. 

Day Camp at Roswell Area Park: May 27 through August 1; 9 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Campers will participate in arts and crafts, games, swimming, and special activities in an outdoor environment. A swim period will be offered at the Roswell Area Park camp four days a week.  This camp is for children entering grades 1 through 5 in the fall. Fee: $72, residents; $108, non-residents. 

R Leisure Camp at Roswell Area Park: Weekly May 27 through August 1; 2 pm. - 6 p.m.

This is an excellent follow-up camp after Day Camp to extend your child’s day to 6 p.m. This camp provides leisure activities for campers, including the opportunity to swim Tuesday through Friday. This camp is for children entering grades 1 through 5 in the fall. Fee: $62, residents; $93, non-residents. 

Early drop-off for Kinder and Day Camp at Roswell Area Park — 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

For the convenience of parents who wish to drop their child off between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. At 8:30 a.m., the campers will be escorted to the camp sites. This applies only to children registered for Day Camp and Kinder Camp Roswell Area Park.  Ages 4-10; age on 9/1/2014. Fee: $18, residents; $27, non-residents.
