Big Creek Wetlands Workday to be Held Saturday
Volunteers should register online to help preserve the wetlands in Roswell, March 10 from 9 a.m.-noon.
Once again this year, the and Keep Roswell Beautiful will team up to host the annual workday this Saturday, March 10 at Big Creek Park.
The event allows volunteers of all ages to give back to the community and spend time outdoors by helping with invasive plant removal, storm drain marking, plantings and wetlands restoration at the park. will donate snacks and beverages for the event.
Volunteers must fill out a waiver prior to the event and register online.
The event, from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 10, is free and is open to the public. The rain date for this event is March 17. Volunteers should meet in the gravel parking lot at Big Creek Park off Old Alabama Road. For more information or questions, call 770-641-3742.
