Floyd, Young Yellow Lab, Needs Home

This gorgeous young pup is named Floyd. He's a medium sized, young yellow lab mix who weighs around 50 pounds and is approximately two years of age.

This boy had a tough life prior to being rescued by Angels Among Us from a heart-sick facility in Georgia. He grew up outdoors and wasn't taught anything about how to behave and how to be a good boy. The irony is that Floyd really is a good boy!

He is loving, very playful, extremely hungry for love and attention, needs someone to play with and is looking for a family and home to call his very own. Floyd has so much love to give a family who will take the time to teach him, work with him, love and support him through the training he so desperately wants.

This pup needs an active owner or family who appreciates a sweet dog who will provide the exercise a young lab needs to work off his energy. He needs a fenced-in yard and a place that has room for him to run, chase, play, do tricks and just share everything with his family.

More than anything, Floyd is a dog who wants to share time, space and the touch that a human provides – he loves them all: adults, kids - old and young. He also loves other dogs and is patient – even when they don’t readily accept another pup in their space. He is a sweetheart who wants to be in your lap all the time – he is just an absolute love bug.

He sweetly greets everyone he meets, rides well in a car (when he’s not wanting to be in your lap), loves his baths, isn’t much of a barker or chewer, and would be an ideal dog for any family or owner.  He walks well on his leash, and is a wonderful, loving dog to be around.

He is currently in boarding and deserves to have a home – foster or adoptive, as he wants to learn what it is like to be in a home and part of a loving family where he could have his own doggie bed, and toys galore to play with.

Floyd is neutered, microchipped, fully vetted and is up-to-date on all shots.  He is not crate-trained and is currently working on his potty training.
