LexisNexis Hosts its Annual Windward Challenge 5K Charity Run/Walk

The 12th annual charity run benefits KaBOOM!, a non-profit dedicated to saving play for America's children.

Runners have just a few more days to warm up for the annual Windward Challenge 5K Charity Run/Walk, being held in North Fulton on Wednesday, Sept. 19.

LexisNexis® Risk Solutions announced the company will host the 12th annual run, with proceeds benefitting KaBOOM!, a national non-profit dedicated to saving play for America’s children. LexisNexis hosts the event to support local Atlanta-area non-profit organizations, raising more than $920,000 through the annual initiative.

“KaBOOM! is thrilled to continue our tremendous work with LexisNexis,” said KaBOOM! Founder and CEO Darell Hammond in a news release about the event. “Every child deserves to have a great place to play and we will once again make that possible for children in the Atlanta area, while bringing KaBOOM! one step closer to our vision of a great place to play within walking distance of every child in America.”
