Lovable Labrador Retriever Mix Up for Adoption

The Atlanta Humane Society Mansell Campus has been home to this puppy since April.

If you are looking for an active, lovable Labrador retriever mix the staff and volunteers can think of no one better than our sweet Big Boy. This little man is just over six months old and has been living at the Atlanta Humane Society since April.

Big Boy has the high energy level and playful nature that is a distinguishing feature of Labrador mixes.

Since Big Boy is still a puppy he would greatly benefit from obedience training and a strong leader to help teach him how to channel his energy into constructive play. It will be important that Big Boy’s future family understand that he is a strong, growing boy who needs plenty of activity daily and structured guidance to help him be the best adult dog. Big Boy loves playing with toys; he will gladly chase and shake rope toys, tennis balls and even Frisbees!

Big Boy has a beautiful, black coat with a long tail that flips up at the end. He is always ready with lots of love and a playful demeanor. In anticipation of finding the forever home he has been searching for, Big Boy has been tested negative for heartworms, vaccinated, dewormed, micro-chipped and neutered.

If you think you can provide Big Boy with the guidance and love he needs, come meet him at the Atlanta Humane Society’s Mansell Campus located at 1565 Mansell Rd, Alpharetta, GA 30009. Bring your whole family, other dogs included, to meet Big Boy and see why all of us here love him so much!

An adoption application can be filled out at our facility and we can be reached at 404-875-5331 with any questions.
