'Power of Pink' Luncheon, Fashion Show this Friday

North Fulton Hospital holds special event to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

North Fulton Hospital will host the "Power of Pink," a special fundraising event to benefit for the Atlanta affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, this Friday, Sept. 23. 

The unique program celebrates women, business, survivorship and promises to be an event to remember.

“Many people are reminded of the importance of breast cancer awareness in October,” says Laura Rivers, MD, FACS, breast surgeon and medical director of the NFH Breast Program.  “Although events in October are very important, we’d like to celebrate survivors and their families and encourage prevention and screenings year-round.”

"Power of Pink" is a unique spin on a women’s networking event. Professional business women of North Fulton and surrounding areas will get the opportunity to enhance business connections and form new associations, as well as make make business contacts and grow relationships - all while benefitting cancer research and celebrating survivors.

  • Debbie Keel, North Fulton Hospital CEO
  • Dr. Laura River Pearson, M.D, Breast Surgeon and Medical Director of the North Fulton Hospital Breast Program
  • Kelly Dolan, Executive Director of Komen Atlanta

There will also be a breast cancer survivor fashion show.

The event will be held at the , 2500 Club Springs Drive, Friday, Sept. 23 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
