'Rise 'N Run' Encourages Support for Local Organizations

North Fulton Community Charities and The Cottage School will team up to host a family fun run in September.

(NFCC) and (TCS) are partnering to host the 6th Annual “Rise ‘N Run” 5K/1K race during September.

The purpose of the event is to support enrichment programs and other services provided by NFCC and TCS via a family fun style race to take place at on Saturday, Sept. 8.

"Our enrichment programs empower adults to take control of their future and their circumstances," said Eden Purdy, program director at NFCC. "The life-skill classes we provide range from GED test tutoring, Job and Career Coaching, to ESOL. Like the Cottage School, we believe that everyone can become a productive contributing member of our community. We are proud to partner with them to support our common goals."
