Second Chance at Love: Local Salon to Provide Battered Women Wedding Gowns

Salon De La Vie is offering 50 percent off salon service for gown donations.

Every bride deserves a white wedding, so is teaming up with The Drake House to provide some very deserving brides the white wedding gown they've always dreamed of for their second chance at love.

The Drake House - a crisis residential assessment center for homeless women and children in North Fulton - provides immediate residential housing, combined with an empowerment program designed to provide stability for women and children, while the family works toward self sufficiency. Salon De La Vie recognized that as these newly empowered women were moving on from their often rocky pasts to find true love, many were not able to afford the gown of their dreams.

To help, the salon is now asking locals to open up their heart and donate a wedding gown. In exchange, Salon De La Vie is offering 50 percent off a one time visit for every gown donated.
