Sonia Leigh To Perform At Roswell Riverside Sounds

The Atlanta native whose music blends old country and rock and roll will take the stage during the Saturday, Aug. 2 installment of the city's concert series at Riverside Park.

The annual Roswell Riverside Sounds concert season continues on Saturday, Aug. 2 with a performance by Sonia Leigh from 7 to 9 p.m. 

The free outdoor concert will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Riverside Park, located at 575 Riverside Road in Roswell. Food trucks will be on-site at each concert.

“Sonia Leigh is one of the hottest new names in country music right now, and we are thrilled she is joining us for Riverside Sounds,” said Morgan Timmis, Historic and Cultural Affairs Manager at the city of Roswell. “Her new single ‘Put It In Your Pocket’ is going to have everyone at Riverside Park up on their feet.”

Sonia Leigh is an Atlanta native who recently relocated to Nashville. She is a diverse artist whose music combines old country and old Rock and Roll. She has toured all over the United States and played some of the greatest stages in the nation, including the Gorge, Red Rocks and The Ryman. 

Sonia Leigh has shared the stage with Uncle Kracker, Loretta Lynn, Eric Church, Brantly Gilbert, Willie Nelson, Beth Hart, Zac Brown Band, Eli Young Band, Kenny Chesney, Amos Lee, and many more. She is a proud co-writer on Zac Brown Band’s #1 selling record “Uncaged” and co-writer on Zac Brown Band’s #1 Single “Goodbye in Her Eyes” and also a co-writer on his latest radio hit, “Sweet Annie.” 

Her latest record, “1978 December,” was released on Zac Brown’s Southern Ground records and had two singles released to national radio and two videos on CMT filmed in Atlanta. Her newest smash single, “Put It In Your Pocket,” debuted on Sirius XM Radio on July 1.
