Crabapple Middle School, located off Crabapple Road, first opened its doors in 1983. The school utilizes looping, block scheduling and "Expeditionary Learning Outward Bound" to organize students' days and accommodate learning styles. First named as a National School of Excellence in 1988, the school has enjoyed many years on the excellence list since.
Students are enrolled in language arts, math, reading, science, social studies, world languages, physical education, health, public speaking and numerous elective courses.
