To complete a custom order for a new client, I took an embroidery order to Kudzu Embroidery. The owner rushed me through the details of what I described and assured me that she had so much experience that she would make sure it was done well. I paid over 23 dollars for two monograms in cash. When I got home I noticed that my receipt did not reflect the amount that the order costed. I called and the owner answered. She remembered me and said that she told me to write the price on my ticket and told me a different amount than the original transaction. I felt uneasy about how I had been rushed so I called again to clarify what my client wanted, she again arrogantly stated that she understood and I should not call her, that she would call me to say that it was ready. When I went in to pick up the order, it was not what we had discussed. She began listening to what I was trying to tell her all along, but then she cut me off and began yelling at me. I told her in a calm voice that she didn't even listen to what I had to say. At that point she grabbed my fabric, continued yelling about how she is attentive to detail and how she had bent over backward to please me and told me to take my order somewhere else! Save yourself the trouble of patronizing this deplorable business.
