I would like to comment on the food served here on New Year's Eve. It was a set menu which I looked at before going, however when I got there it was a different menu. The portion size was so small and the food was not good at all. I have eaten here several times in the past as well as the friends that I was with and we are agreed that this was not the standard that we were used to. We all said something to the owner as he knew who we were(frequent customers) but he just blew us off and laughed about it. Needless to say we were not happy when we left nor were we full after spending well over $800 for a party of six. We will not go back here nor will we go to Salt as the owner showed us no respect and did not serve what was listed on the menu.
This is by far the best of the best in steak houses. The wine list is only slightly shadowed by the scotch list. The beef carpachio is out of this world and so are the raw oysters. I'd put there steaks above any other steak house within a hundred miles hands down.
This restaurant is amazing! I've lived in most of the largest cities in the US and this is only comparable to the best! Great atmosphere, and quality food. There is no doubt time was spent trying to offer the guest the best in each cut they prepare. Bob Eater evidently has a lot of time, and perhaps a grudge, because I've noticed he has gone on every possible website that reviews restaurants to give this gem a bad name. I wonder if he considers that everyone makes a mistake, (which they evidently tried to remedy).. Oh well I guess he still thinks they should get one star. Perhaps the fact that the owners probably employee over a hundred people in our state isn't success enough. I, for one, want small business to boom again. Focus on how to make your community a success and this will be reflected in the person you are. Thanks Little Alley Steak for all the hard work, great food and beauty you've added to my town!
inconsistent. I really want to love this place, and have been a few times, with different experiences on each visit. Perhaps they're still working out the kinks, but for the money, i'll head elsewhere. McKendricks and Joey D's aren't far, and are superior in almost every way
