Roswell Police arrested Mathew Johnson late last night for hitting two vehicles and fleeing the scene of the accident. Johnson failed to maintain his lane while driving on Holcomb Bridge Road at Ga. 400, late Sunday night, Dec. 9. After striking one vehicle, he attempted to flee the scene, but instead ran into a tractor trailer. Unable to drive his vehicle at that point, Johnson got out of the car and ran down Holcomb Bridge Road. Police later found him hiding behind the dumpster of La Quinta. He was charged with DUI, fail to maintain lane and hit and run.

Roswell Police arrested the suspect, Brent Merrill Kellogg, Jr., on Monday, May 7. He was wanted in Henry County also for probation violation of child molestation.
UPDATED: May 8, 2012 6:06 p.m. - Roswell Police were called to the McDonald's on Holcomb Bridge after a man was spotted looking at pornography on his laptop in the dining room filled with customers, including young children. The restaurant manager told police that when a customer complained to her about the man - later identified as Brent Merrill Kellogg, Jr. - she walked behind the man to confirm he was, in fact, looking at porn out in the open. She told police that the photo she saw on the laptop screen was of a "young girl," most likely in her teens, wearing only a bra. Roswell Police arrested Lorenzo James Leftenant and charged him with aggravated assault after he allegedly shot a man at a Holcomb Bridge Road gas station. James Landingham was shot Thursday afternoon in the parking lot of the Chevron Gas Station at 1105 Holcomb Bridge Road. According to reports, when Leftenant allegedly approached his victim, Landingham thought it was a toy gun. After he was shot, he waved down an a Roswell Police officer, who was on patrol near the intersection where the gas station is located, and showed him a gun shot wound to the abdomen. UPDATED 11:10 a.m., Nov. 9: A second Roswell man has been arrested after dozens of shots were fired with a pellet pistol at vehicles and businesses on Mansell Road in Alpharetta and Roswell, and in other places in Roswell. Javon Dacosta Toppin, 22, of Roswell, was arrested at 10 p.m. Nov. 8. He was charged with aggravated assault with a firearm and two counts criminal damage to property in the first degree. Both charges are felonies.; Rashaun Stevens, who was arrested earlier on Tuesday, now faces those same charges in the investigation by Alpharetta and Roswell police, said George Gordon, public information officer for the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety. Milton police believe they have solved at least three burglary cases from February and March with the arrest of a 43-year-old Roswell man. Reginald Dwayne Byrd was arrested on two counts of burglary, financial transaction card fraud and financial transaction card theft, according to a news release from Capt. Shawn McCarty. Byrd is in Fulton County Jail on a $20,000 bond. More charges and other suspects are probable, said Milton police, with Gwinnett and Dawson County authorities seeking warrants. According to the Georgia State Department of Corrections Web site, Byrd has a past history of robbery, burglary, numerous thefts, forgery and drugs and was released from parole on Feb. 14. Roswell Police Department and Dunwoody Police Department have suspect in custody.
Police made an arrest in the Valentine’s Day Fifth Third Bank robbery in Roswell early Saturday morning, Feb. 26. After a search warrant was issued for the suspect’s residence on Thompson Street in Alpharetta and surveillance was done at a location in Perimeter Mall, arrestee Adam Christopher Meacham, 26, was taken into custody with help from the Dunwoody Police Department. He has been turned over to Fulton County for booking. Meacham is a suspect in the robbery at the Fifth Third Bank at the Kroger on Crossville Road, as well as another bank in Alpharetta.
