Causes of Death Determined in Murder-Suicide

Police found bodies at Johns Creek apartment complex on Monday.

Updated, Tuesday, Feb. 5, 5:15 p.m.: The causes of death in the murder-suicide that claimed the lives of a family of four in a Johns Creek apartment complex were hanging, injury by sharp objects and blunt force trauma, said Police Chief Ed Densmore on Tuesday. The two children, Sartaj and Gurtej Grover, died from homicide by sharp force injuries to the neck; their mother, Damanjit "Daisy" Kaur Grover, died from homicide by blunt force trauma to the head; and the father, Shivinder Singh Grover, died from suicide by hanging. "I'd like to first give our condolences to the Grover family for the tragic situation they suffered," Densmore said.
