Roswell's Plum Cafe Hosts Benefit Dinner for Devastated Breezy Point, NY
Reservations for the fundraiser must be made in advance.
Hurricane Sandy would have been considered devastating had it hit anytime throughout the year, but its aftershock is especially felt at the holidays. To help some families up North during this arduous rebuilding process, Roswell's Plum Café will host a benefit fundraiser on behalf of the residents of Breezy Point, NY. The small Queens suburb was devastated by the hurricane when, after being flooded by rushing waters, fires destroyed 110 homes. The community is home to many families of firefighters, EMTs and police officers who commute and work in Manhattan daily.
