Visit 300 Colleges Without Ever Leaving Home

College Week Live is holding what it calls the world's largest virtual college fair on Tuesday and Wednesday, with more than 300 colleges participating. The University of West Georgia is participating in its first virtual college fair on Wednesday, March 21 and Thursday, March 22. It's one of nine Georgia colleges participating. The fair offers prospective students information and a chance at $1,000 scholarship. Students can learn more about UWG as well as more than 300 other schools who will be chatting all day. Live chats will be devoted to answering questions about the admissions process, program information, and student life. More Than 100 Colleges, Universities Look For Students At North Point Mall

The free college fair fair offers guidance to high school students.

High school students can talk one-on-one with representatives of colleges and universities at North Point Mall on Sept. 13, as the Georgia Education Articulation Committee’s (GEAC) Fall 2011 PROBE College Fair comes to town. The fair, which will run from 6-9 p.m., is free and open to high school students and their families. The eight-week fall tour consists of 61 college fairs held at various schools and venues across the state of Georgia. In addition to Roswell, attendees are expected from Cobb, Fulton, Forsyth, Johns Creek, Duluth, Cherokee, Alpharetta, Milton and North Dekalb.
