An exclusive Apple computers collection will be on display in Roswell, Saturday April 20 and Sunday April 21.
Techies and history buffs are drooling over Apples - of the electronic variety. A special Apple Pop-Up Museum is headed to Roswell for one weekend only in April and the virtual world is buzzing with excitement. According to information from organizers, the museum will exhibit in conjunction with the Vintage Computer Festival Southeast 1.0, at the former CompUSA store at Kings Market Shopping Center in Roswell. They hope it will tell "the story of how a small start-up company founded in a garage by two young friends, Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, became the leading consumer electronics and personal computer company in the world...forever changing how we interact with others and the world around us." Hundreds of thousands of computers could lose Internet July 9.

Without a fix that is being put out by the FBI, it is possible that hundred of thousands of computer users could lose access to the Internet come July 9 thanks to the work of hackers. The Huffington Post reported that the problem began when international hackers ran an online advertising scam to take control of infected computers. The FBI responded with a safety net using government computers to prevent Internet disruptions. The problem is, that is in the process of being shut down. Once the shutdown is complete, infected computers could lose access to the Internet. D-day is set for July 9. Centennial High School students helped to make this holiday season a little better through the donation of computers to needy families.
Students in the computer class at Centennial High School students built computers as a culminating project for the class, this past semester. As a way to give back during this time of year, students decided to donate their hard earned efforts to people in need. They contacted North Fulton Community Charities to see if the organization knew of anyone who could benefit from the computers. The answer was: yes. Director of Development for North Fulton Charities, Vonda Malbrough, came to Centennial to accept the computer donations in early December. “If it were not for your efforts some families would not have computers at all," Malbrough told the students.
