Veteran country rocker plays to a capacity crowd.
Saturday night's show at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park was awesome. The beautiful and talented Janna Kramer started the night and was followed by country heartthrob Justin Moore. Darius Rucker finished the evening to an enthusiastic crowd. Next on tap Tony Bennett with very special guest Jackie Evancho, Friday, May 31.

The popular entertainer, who "killed it" -- in the words of social media chatter -- in Sunday's Super Bowl 2013 halftime show, plans to bring her new tour to nearby Duluth in July. According to an announcement on Beyoncé website, the "The Mrs. Carter Show" world tour will be at the Gwinnett Arena (about 23 miles from Roswell) on July 12. Doors will open at 7 p.m. It will be the only Atlanta metro area appearance with tickets for the show going on sale Saturday, Feb. 16. Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre's first 2013 "show" will be the Big Apple Circus, which will pitch its big top in the parking lot off Founders Parkway next month.
The circus is coming to town, and so are Widespread Panic and the Avett Brothers. Performances are scheduled at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in North Fulton. Huge names in music are lending their talents to Hurricane Sandy relief efforts at the “12-12-12” concert on Wednesday, Dec. 12. The Atlanta Wind Symphony, a 65-member volunteer symphonic band, will feature a free holiday concert titled “Unleashing the Inner Child” on Sunday, Dec. 9, at 3 p.m. at the Roswell Cultural Arts Center. The concert will feature fun and festive music for families to get into the holiday spirit.
