Rep. Tom Price will speak at the next Eggs & Enterprise Breakfast on Tuesday, Jan. 29, a little more than a week after the inauguration of President Barack Obama. The Sixth District Republican from Roswell makes his appearance as Congress begins its next debate with the President – and each other – over the debt ceiling. State Sen. Young Roswell Golfers to Play PGA Junior League Championship

A team of golfers from Atlanta will be playing for the first-ever PGA Junior League Golf Championship after winning the Regional Championship this past weekend. The team has now qualified as one of six teams that will be competing for the championship at Cog Hill Golf & Country Club outside of Chicago, Sept. 14-16. The Atlanta team defeated teams from Myrtle Beach, Indianapolis and Raleigh in matches played on Aug. 4-5 at TPC Sugarloaf in Duluth. Country Club of Roswell recently announced new General Manager Mike Davis and new Controller Ed Van Buren have joined its staff. The general manger position has been vacant since the retirement of Kevin Smith last summer. After an exhaustive nation-wide search, Davis was selected to lead CCR into the future and continue its vision to be the club of choice in North Atlanta.
