Residents along Crabapple Road have their water turned back on.
County Water Resources restored water service last night to the approximately 60 homes in Roswell that were impacted by a Crabapple Road water main break that occurred Wednesday afternoon. The break happened during the afteroon near Fowler Road, but was fixed by 7:15 p.m. However, crews are still replacing curbs affected by the break this morning. The county says, weather permitting, crews will replace pavement and sidewalks next week, but it will not impact traffic lanes. For more information, please call 770-640-3040.

Sunday, November 4, 2012
Beginning Monday, Nov. 5, the Roswell Water Utility will tie-over customer water service lines from the current two-inch water main to a newer six-inch water main. The work will be done along the north bound lane of Crabapple Road, north of Woodstock Road. One traffic lane will be closed, north bound, and customer services that are being tied over to the new main will only be affected during the actual tie over and will be notified when the water will be turned off to complete the tie over. This work may take up to one week to complete. If you have any questions, please contact the Roswell Water Utility at 770-641-3707 or …
