American Grassroots Coalition Taps Roswell Kids to Star in Ad

The activist group uses several Crabapple Middle School students in its first ad, which tells Washington not to raise the debt ceiling.

Several rising sixth and seventh graders at Roswell's Crabapple Middle School were recently part of the American Grassroots Coalition's first television advertisement, which has yet to air. In the ad, titled "LemonAid Anyone?," the group of middle school-aged children can be seen selling lemonade from a front lawn stand, worried over their families' financial futures and how they will repay the national debt.  On its website, the Marietta-based coalition describes itself as supportive of the Cut, Cap and Balance initiative and holds fast to "three core principles and values: fiscal responsibility, constitutionally limited government, and free markets."
