The Roswell Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) and the Roswell Business Alliance (RBA) recently honored Dave Schmit as the 2011 Recipient of the Economic Development Award. The award was presented during the organizations’ Annual Meeting and Award Ceremony at the Holiday Inn on Holcomb Bridge Road in Roswell. The Economic Development Award was created to recognize outstanding and consistent efforts in economic development. Schmit was presented the award for his efforts in continuously supporting strong economic development in Roswell through his own projects, as well as heading the 2030 comprehensive plan and serving on the newly activated Downtown Development Authority.
