Eleanor Wolff turned 100 on Dec. 25.
Elmcroft of Roswell resident Eleanor Wolff turned 100 years old on Christmas Day. Born the same year of the Titanic sinking, Wolff is a native of New York City. She moved to Georgia in 2005 to be near her daughter. Wolff thinks of New York City as the "greatest city on Earth" and is always the first one at Friday happy hour to join in singing “New York, New York.” She was employed by Bonwit Teller Department Store in Manhattan where she regularly met celebrities including Mrs. Charles Lindbergh. Wolff was happily married for 64 years before her husband Bob’s passing in 1996. Together they raised two children.
